DVD tells sick to work it out

A DVD has been launched by NHS Lothian to encourage people who have suffered physical or mental ill health to return to work.

The resource is filmed in a documentary style and features the views of local GPs, patients and employers.

Gerry McFeely, project manager, said: “Work is vital to people’s lives and to their overall wellbeing. This DVD poses the question, who is vocational rehabilitation? The answer is that everyone is.”
