Duo detained for dangling boy by legs

TWO people have been detained by police following claims a child was dangled upside down by his legs at Ocean Terminal.

Police were called to the shopping centre following reports of a “domestic incident”.

An eyewitness said the three-year-old boy had been held upside down by his legs, but there was no suggestion the child had been dangled from any great height.

The boy was taken to the Sick Kids as a precaution.
