Dunnottar Castle body identified as Carole Corbet
POLICE have confirmed the identity of the body found dead at the coastline near to Dunnottar Castle in Aberdeenshire as missing woman Carole Corbet.
The 49-year-old was reported missing from the Berryden area of Aberdeen last Thursday and an extensive air, land and sea search was carried out.
A body was discovered on the coastline on Sunday.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “There are no suspicious circumstances and as is normal practice, a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
