Dundee boy, 10, charged over knife injury

A 10-year-old boy has been charged in connection with an assault after an alleged knife incident involving another schoolboy.

The victim, also 10, was taken to hospital following the incident in Dundee on Sunday where it is understood he was treated for a head injury.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman confirmed a boy had been charged.

“A report was submitted to the Youth Justice Assessor and the circumstances will be referred to the Children’s Reporter for consideration,” she added.
