Drug charge mother faces eviction

A MOTHER-OF-SIX facing extradition to the United States for allegedly exporting chemicals used in the production of crystal meth could lose her home after being sued by a loan company.

Kerry Anne Howes, 33, who is facing trial in Arizona along with her husband, Brian, 48, is accused of failing to meet monthly payments on a debt secured on the property in Bridgeness Road, Bo’ness, West Lothian.

In papers lodged at Falkirk Sheriff Court yesterday, finance company Central Trust PLC claims she owes over £5000.

Brian, who is currently reported to be on hunger strike in HMP Addiewell, West Lothian, is named as an “applicant” in the legal papers.

The couple were arrested in January 2007.
