Drivers hurt in collision

THE drivers of two cars which collided in a West Lothian town were treated in hospital.

Emergency services rushed to the scene of the crash in Goschen Place, Uphall, after receiving a call on Wednesday night.

The drivers, both women, aged 20 and 27, had managed to free themselves from the vehicles by the time firefighters and medics arrived.

The women were later taken to St John’s Hospital in Livingston and checked for minor injuries.
