Drifting in to tune up with youngsters

Michael Williams, a vocalist with music stars The Drifters, was rehearsing with P6 and P7 pupils at Bruntsfield Primary School, as they prepare to take to the stage at the Playhouse.

The youngsters will be performing with the group on March 1, during their UK tour, and got a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join the singer to rehearse the vocals for two of the band’s biggest hits – Saturday Night at the Movies and Stand by Me, ahead of the show.

The youngsters were also able to learn a little bit about the music industry and take part in a question and answer session with the singer.
