Dragons move to September

THE ORGANISERS of a spectacular dragon boat festival in Leith's Western Harbour have moved the event from June to September - to raise as much money as possible for charity.

The Rotary Club of Leith wants the event to raise more than 100,000 and has decided to maximise its fundraising potential by giving participants an extra three months to raise sponsorship cash.

The first annual Leith Rotary Dragon Boat Challenge will now be held on September 3.
