Dog walker assaulted

A DOG walker was assaulted on a walkway along the Water of Leith following a row between two men.

Police have appealed for witnesses following the assault which took place near Colinton at around 2.30pm yesterday.

The male suspect is described as in his mid to late thirties, of average build and wearing a blue fleece jacket. He was walking a black-and-white terrier type dog and was with a young girl.
