Doctor Who: Huge scarf found on Edinburgh ‘Tardis’
A POLICE box in the centre of Edinburgh has been given an impromptu makeover in honour of the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who.
An enormous multi-coloured scarf has been wrapped around the police box near the Dean Bridge. A tag on the scarf reads: “Happy 50th Anniversary Doctor Who!”
The 50th anniversary episode of the science-fiction show - with appearances from Timelords from throughout the show’s history - was broadcast last night, breaking a Guinness World Record for the largest ‘simulcast’ of any television show.
