DJs in a spin after wedding award success

A GROUP of bhangra DJs notable for their kilt and turban attire have been voted Scotland's best Asian wedding entertainers.

Edinburgh-based DJ VIP perform at weddings, functions, clubs and on the radio as well as producing bhangra artists.

They took the prize for best wedding DJs at the third annual Occasions Scottish Asian Wedding Show on Sunday.

Owner Vipen Kumar said: "It's good to be recognised after 15 years of DJing at weddings, both Asian and Western.

"We do Muslim weddings where there is no drinking, and often no dancing, and we also do Indian weddings where it's all about the drinking and the dancing so it's all about fitting the entertainment around their needs."
