Former Radio 1 DJ Denning, now 73, has admitted sexually assaulting 26 boys over 20 years.

And according to guitarist Pat McGlynn, some of that abuse took place at the Edinburgh home of Rollers manager Paton, who regularly invited Denning to his parties during the 1970s.

McGlynn, 56, said: “Chris Denning was always there. Whenever he saw a kid who was in a bad way, he’d be straight across. Then he’d drag them into one of the bedrooms.”

Denning pleaded guilty to 41 charges of indecent assault and gross indecency on boys between 1967 and 1987, and will be sentenced next month.
