Disruption for cyclists

Cyclists in West Lothian have been told to expect disruption over the coming weeks.

The National Cyclepath 75 to the east of Armadale Station is likely to be closed for about nine weeks.

A new road is currently being built to pass under the Bathgate to Airdrie rail line and it will be at least nine weeks before a temporary diversion path is available.

Part of the national cycle network, National Route 75 connects Leith with Portavadie via Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Gourock-Dunoon ferry.
