Dining out for youth trust

A FUNDRAISING lunch has raised more than £16,000 for The Prince’s Trust Scotland.

More than 150 guests attended the lunch, which was held at the city’s George Hotel.

Heather Gray, director of the youth charity, said: “It is an important event within The Prince’s Trust’s fundraising calendar and we are absolutely delighted that people took the time out to attend.

“In addition to hearing from some fascinating speakers, including one of the trust’s own Young Ambassadors, guests helped raise vital funds and learned more about the work of The Prince’s Trust Scotland.”

The Prince’s Trust Scotland works with young people aged 13 to 25 who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law.

It is the third year that the event has been run.
