Diet firm piles on the pounds

A LOCAL company has been named as one of the fastest-growing in the UK.

Edinburgh-based Diet Chef ranked third in a list of the top 100 UK private companies, with one of the fastest-growing sales over the past three years.

The company, founded in 2007 by Kevin Dorren and Andrew Veitch, was one of only two Scottish companies to feature on the league table following growth of 229 per cent between 2008 and 2011.

Company founder Mr Dorren said: “We are delighted to have won such a prestigious award.”
