Deadly flu claims 30 lives this winter

Two more patients in Scotland have died with flu, bringing the total this winter to 30.

Health Protection Scotland also revealed that six more patients had been admitted to intensive care in the last week and so far this winter 102 patients have needed intensive care. A patient from Dumfries and Galloway suffering from the swine flu strain of the virus is still in a Leicester hospital where she is “stable”.
