Daredevil skiers launch off Crags

Daredevil skiers have been making the most of the weather by plummeting down the steep slopes beneath Salisbury Crags.

A film of one of the skiers was yesterday proving popular on video sharing website YouTube, while another was posted to the Telford College Facebook page.

Although the identity of the daredevils was not revealed on either site, the Facebook film was captioned: "A certain talented Telfordian ski-jumping off Arthur's Seat!"

Both films show skiers racing down Radical Road close to the western corner of the Crags, before leaping off into mid-air and then skiing straight down the almost-vertical side of the hill.
