Dame Kelly to name record-breaking ship

DOUBLE Olympic gold medallist Dame Kelly Holmes is to name P&O Ferries' new vessel later this year.

The 49,000-tonne Olympic Spirit will become the largest ship on the Dover-Calais route when it begins services at the end of this year. An identical 699ft (213m) sister ship will be delivered in autumn 2011 and take the name Olympic Pride.
