Cyclist pedals in for ovarian cancer drive

A CYCLING charity campaigner has visited Edinburgh to raise awareness of ovarian cancer.

Simon Curtis, 38, was in the Capital over the weekend as part of his 6,000-mile pedal round the British coastline.

He wants GPs and members of the public to be better informed about the disease, which killed his mother last year.

He said: "I felt that it was important to raise awareness so that misdiagnosis is minimised."
