Around 30 pupils and staff have donned cycling helmets and waterproofs for the official launch of Beeslack Bike Club.

Those arriving on two wheels were welcomed with a hearty breakfast of bacon butties by staff at Beeslack Community High School in Penicuik. Cycling Scotland awarded almost £8000 to the project, which has allowed the school to buy 20 bikes.
