Crockart’s celebration of Highland Show reaps award

Mike Crockart, MP for Edinburgh West, has tabled an Early Day Motion to celebrate the Royal Highland Show being voted the top show in the UK.

He said: “I’m delighted that the hard work of the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland has been recognised with this accolade.

“It demonstrates the level of support that the show has, not only in Scotland but across the UK.

“To come out top against competition like the Great Yorkshire Show and the Royal Welsh is a reflection of how hard the society works year-round to co-ordinate the show and its efforts to bring new things to the experience of visitors each year.”
