Crimestoppers milestone

CRIMESTOPPERS passed a milestone today as 100,000 suspects were arrested following information passed to the crime-fighting charity.

The anonymous telephone helpline has passed information to thousands of police officers across Britain since it was formed in 1988 by Lord Ashcroft.
