Wick: Two children hit by driver who was using mobile phone

Two young children suffered minor injuries after being hit by a car in Wick after the driver became distracted while using his mobile phone.

The accident happened in the town centre of Wick in the Scottish highlands on the evening of Wednesday, November 17.

The young children were hit by a car after the driver mounted the pavement while using his mobile phone.

A 43-year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving and licensing offences, and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
