Two Scottish teens in hospital with serious injuries after A7 crash
The driver and the passenger of a blue Volkswagen Polo, both aged 17, were involved in a crash close to the Synton junction, at around 7:40pm on Monday evening.
This morning Police Scotland officers confirmed that both men are still in hospital and being treated for what were described as serious injuries.

Hide AdThe force has now launched a public appeal for witnesses and information into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Sergeant Mark Banner, from Police Scotland's Road Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for anyone who was in the area around the time of the crash to please come forward, whether you saw anything or may have potential dashcam footage which could assist our investigation.
“Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting incident 2969 of 4 January.”
