Thief steals 48 rolls at 4am every day from Lothian supermarket
The man turns up every day at 4am and grabs bags containing 48 rolls from the U-Save store in Tranent, East Lothian.
The hooded thief's early morning crime sprees over the past two weeks have been recorded on CCTV and the shop’s management has now taken to social media in a bid to shame him.

Hide AdThe U-Save store’s Facebook post said: “This desperate guy comes to steal morning rolls every morning at 4am.
“Can you stop stealing as you’re being watched and an action will be taken about this.”
The store said management did not want to involve police just yet.
Shoppers have slammed the brazen thief, but some have seen the funny side to his early morning antics.
June Watt said: “Unbelievable - send [the] footage to the police. Stealing rolls today - he will try something else tomorrow.”
Ali Anderson posted : “The rolls must be very good to get up at that time of morning.”
And Lorraine Currie added: “Certainly no a rugby player with they greyhound legs.”
Meanwhile another thief has been repeatedly stealing milk from the doorstep of one unlucky resident in Edinburgh.

Hide AdThe shameless person has plundered pints of milk from the same home for weeks and was eventually caught out last week when the fed-up homeowner installed a doorbell camera.
The man has regularly attended at the family home in Clermiston just before dawn and makes no attempt to hide his identity.
The householder said: “I have no idea who it is that is stealing our milk but it is not the first time it has happened. I couldn’t have my bloody cereal this morning - I am so annoyed.
“The cheek of him. Our milk man had dropped it off and wasn’t even on our doorstep for nine minutes before the wee **** came and took it.”
The mum believes the milk snatcher has been keeping a look out for the delivery van’s arrival before sneaking up to the door and running off with the bottles of milk.
She added the family has fallen victim to the thirsty thief several times and was stunned to capture images of him on her camera but is reluctant to involve the police.
