Teenager held after man shot in house

A TEENAGER has been arrested by police after a 28-year-old man was hospitalised after being shot at a house, police said last night,

A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital following the incident at a building in Carluke, Lanarkshire in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Officers were called to the building at about 20 minutes past midnight yesterday.

The injured man was taken to Wishaw General Hospital, where he was said later to be in a stable condition.

Strathclyde Police said last night that an 18-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident.
