Teenager arrested after Shetland pony was 'stabbed to death' in West Lothian

The teenager is due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court today

Police have confirmed that a teenage boy has been arrested after a Shetland pony was ‘stabbed to death’ in Broxburn, West Lothian.

The boy will appear in Livingston Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

The pony, named Pepper, was found dead in a field behind Roman Camp Cottages in Broxburn around 11 am on Monday, June 8.
