Seven arrested after Class A drugs and cash worth more than £15,000 retrieved by Police Scotland

The drugs found were worth £2,500.

Arrests have been made following the discovery of thousands of pounds worth of Class A drugs and cash in a Scottish city.

Seven people were arrested and charged in Aberdeen yesterday after £2,500 worth of heroin and cocaine and £13,000 in cash were found at an address.

North East Police posted a statement on twitter following the incident which happened yesterday (May 12).

A spokesman said: “CID took enforcement action yesterday.

“Three warrants in Aberdeen, seven arrested and charged.

“£2,500 heroin and cocaine and £13,000 cash seized.

“DI Martyn Thomson said: ‘Drug supply has a negative impact on our communities, we continue to take robust action.’

“Report drug dealing on 101/Crimestoppers.”
