Police wanting to trace dog owner after lamb attacked in Midlothian by a husky-like dog

Police wish to trace the owners.

A lamb has been attacked by a dog that resembles a husky.

The incident happened at about 5.20pm on Wednesday, May 27, at Flotterstone, near to Glencorse Reservoir.

The dog was grey, white and cream colour and another similar looking one was with it at the time of the attack.

Officers wish to trace the owner of the dogs in connection to the incident.

They are hoping to speak to a man who has been described as white, 6ft and slim. He was wearing a helmet at the time, had a local accent and was carrying an infant in a child back carrier.

Police are appealing for anyone who has information regarding the incident or for the dog owner himself to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 2803, 27/05/2020.
