Police appeal after 64-year-old disappeared from Nairn with his dog

Police in Nairn have launched an investigation after the disappearance of a local man and his dog.

Frank Grant was reported missing from his home in Montgomerie Drive in the town on Monday, February 15.

The 64-year-old was last seen at around 2:30pm that afternoon.

He is thought to be with his black Labrador dog, and is likely to have used his red Dacia Sandero with the registration number SG19 DCE.

Police Scotland said his current whereabouts are unknown, and added that his friends and family are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Officers said Mr Grant is around 5’6” tall, with grey hair, blue eyes and a slim build.

He is believed to have been wearing a dark coloured jacket, blue jeans and brown shoes.

Police Scotland have asked that any sightings of Frank be reported to Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3208 of February 15, 2021.
