Ongoing police incidents at Tesco stores in Falkirk and Camelon

Police are currently in attendance at Tesco superstores in Falkirk Central Retail Park and Glasgow Road, Camelon.

No information is available about the incidents yet, or whether they are connected, but eyewitnesses at the scene – including Falkirk Herald photographer Michael Gillen – state the stores have been cordoned off by officers.

A Tesco spokesman said: “We are fully supporting the Police with their investigations. Many thanks to our customers and colleagues for their understanding as we quickly returned to normal service.”
