Man in hospital after having throat slashed

A MAN has been taken to hospital after being injured during a disturbance in Lanarkshire.

Police said an incident took place in Morgan Street, Larkhall, at about 5:45am yesterday.

The man was believed to be suffering from a head injury and his throat had reportedly been slashed. He was taken by ambulance to Wishaw General Hospital for treatment.
