Man held over murder bid

A MAN has been charged in connection with an attempted murder in February, police said yesterday.

The 39-year-old was arrested by Fife Police over an alleged attack on Craig Linton earlier this year.

Mr Linton, 33, was allegedly attacked in a house in Keir Hardie Street, Methil, on 7 February.

He was allegedly found with stab wounds and taken to Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline and released after what police described as a “considerable time”.

A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
