Man charged with murder of Omar Sadiq in Glasgow

A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a man in Glasgow last month.

Omer Sadiq, 32, was found seriously injured on Boydstone Road at 1.25pm on Tuesday September 15.

He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he died a short time later.

Hashim Uddin, 27, from Glasgow, appeared at the city’s sheriff court on Friday charged with his murder.

He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
