Man accused of threats to foetus

A MAN has been charged with threatening a foetus, a court heard yesterday.

Iain MacKay, 36, of Drip Road, Stirling, is said to have behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause a reasonable person to suffer fear of alarm on 28 October last year.

He is also said to have shouted, sworn, clenched his fist and made threats of violence towards the unborn child.

He was due to appear at Stirling Sheriff Court yesterday, but failed to appear. An arrest warrant was granted.
