Man, 86, dies and woman, 81, seriously injured in Highlands car crash
Officers said the 86-year-old’s black Peugeot 2008 collided with a DAF articulated lorry on the A939 near Grantown-on-Spey, at around 11am on Wednesday, October 7.
The man, who was driving the car, was pronounced dead at the scene, and officers confirmed that a passenger - an 81-year-old woman - was injured.

Hide AdShe was taken by ambulance to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness where her condition is described by doctors as serious.
Sergeant David Miller, of the North Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who sadly died in this crash and our enquiries are ongoing to find out what happened.
He asked anyone driving on the road before the accident, and those with dash-cam footage, to come forward.
