Kirkcaldy 'stabbing': Arrest made after injured man rushed to hospital

A man has been arrested after another injured man was taken to hospital during an incident in Fife this afternoon.

Police are on the scene.

Witnesses reported a heavy police presence in the Templehall area of Kirkcaldy at around 3pm today.

It is understood that one man was stabbed.

A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of an injured man in Beauly Place, Kirkcaldy around 2.55pm today, Thursday, 17 September, 2020.

"Officers attended and the victim was taken to hospital where he’s being treated for his injuries.

"One man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.”
