Human remains discovered in Milngavie park

Police have discovered human remains within a country park in East Dunbartonshire.

A member of the public made the find near the waterworks in Mugdock Country Park, Milngavie, on Tuesday afternoon.

Officers have sealed off the area while they conduct forensic inquiries which are “at a very early stage”.
