Glasgow police launch hunt for missing 16-year-old

Police in Glasgow have launched an appeal for information to help trace a missing teenage girl.

Lisa Ferguson went missing from the village of Balfron, in Stirling, on Tuesday, February 16 and has not been seen since.

The 16-year-old is known to travel frequently to the Glasgow area.

Officers said she is 5’5” tall, has a slim build, blue eyes and long brown hair.

When she was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket, black leggings and white trainers.

Her home in Balfron, which lies 16 miles north of Glasgow, has direct public transport links with the city.

The X10 bus, departing from the Clinic bus stop in the village, terminates at Buchanan Bus Terminal in Glasgow.

Police Scotland said anyone with information about Lisa’s whereabouts should call the force on 101, quoting incident number 3,416 of February 16, 2021.

Police Scotland has Missing Person Coordinators (MPCs) in every local division in the country to ensure missing people receive support once they are found.
