Glasgow man dies after being found seriously injured in Duke Street

Police said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.

A man thought to be in his 20s has died this morning, after being found with serious injuries in a Glasgow street.

Police were called to the scene in Duke Street, near to Hunter Street, at around 6:45am this morning.

The man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary by ambulance but died a short time later.

Officers are investigating the circumstances around his death.

They confirmed that Duke Street is closed between Barrack Street and John Knox Street until further notice.
