Falkirk undertaker's 'absolute disgust' as vehicle is stolen

The owners of a Falkirk funeral directors have told of their “absolute disgust” after a company vehicle was stolen.

Thomas Cuthell and Sons, which is based in Hope Street, took to Facebook to share the news of the theft, which took place in Main Street, Shieldhill this morning.

In a statement, the family-run firm said: “It is with absolute disgust we share this post.

“Just before 7.30am this morning (Thursday) one of our company vehicles was stolen. The registration number of the vehicle is F9 TCS, black Ford Mondeo estate.

“In the midst of the most difficult and emotionally draining time period our colleagues and community has faced, we cannot believe that such evil continues.

“Can we ask that if anyone sees this car they please notify us on 01324 875107 and Police Scotland, quoting incident number 0535 immediately.”

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Inquiries are at an early stage and the car was last seen in the Slamannan area.”
