East Kilbride: Bogus workmen steal four-figure sum of money from 74-year-old woman

Two bogus work men are understood to have stolen a four-figure sum of cash from an elderly woman in East Kilbride last week.

Police Scotland are appealing for information after the two men – who were reportedly offering their gardening services – robbed the 74-year-old in Livingstone Drive, East Kilbride.

The incident happened on Thursday, October 21.

Enquiries are being carried out to establish exactly what happened and anyone who has information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101.
