Dumbarton: Two men charged in connection with serious assault

Two men have been charged in connection with the serious assault of two people in Dumbarton earlier this month.

The incident happened on Castle Street at around 1.20am on Sunday, September 12, when two men, aged 57 and 58, were seriously assaulted while walking near the Lidl car park.

Police Scotland has now confirmed that an 18-year-old man and a 58-year-old man have been charged in connection.

They are both due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on October 20, 2021.
