Dealer to pay up crime cash

A DRUG dealer has been ordered to hand over more than £17,000 after a confiscation order was granted.

Eric Gorman, 50, pleaded guilty in September 2010 at Edinburgh Sheriff Court to being concerned in the supply of heroin.

Prosecutors believe Gorman illegally pocketed £90,000, but have only located £17,488, which a sheriff told him to hand over yesterday. The court can recalculate the order if he obtains cash or assets in future.
