Concerns growing for missing Scot

Officers have launched a search for the missing 29-year-old.

A search has been launched for a Scottish man who has gone missing from his home address.

Paul Haggerty went missing from his home in Johnstone, officers announced today.

The 29-year-old, who lives in the Johnstone Castle area, is white, 6ft and of medium build with short, dark-coloured hair.

Officers are currently carrying out enquiries to locate Mr Haggerty, and it is understood he often visits the Johnstone Castle and Bluebell Woods area.

A police spokesman said: “We are appealing to anyone who has seen Paul or who has any information on his whereabouts to contact them.

"We are also appealing to Paul himself to contact police to let them know that he is safe and well.

"Anyone with information should contact Renfrew Police Station through 101 quoting reference number 1206 of 15th July 2020.”
