Appeal after Glasgow City FC player goes missing from Midlothian town

The club said Clare Shine has been missing since 9:30am this morning.

Glasgow City FC have launched a public appeal to help find one of their players, who has been missing since this morning.

Clare Shine, an Irish striker at the club, was last seen in Roslin, Midlothian, at 9:30am today.

The 25-year-old first joined Glasgow CIty FC in 2015, returning in 2019 after a two-year spell at Cork City.

In a post on social media, Glasgow City FC told followers: “Our player & dear friend Clare Shine has been missing since 9:30am this morning.

“We are all very concerned,” they added.
