Airdrie police appeal to find ‘vulnerable’ missing teen

Police in North Lanarkshire have appealed for help from the public to find a “vulnerable” teenager who has been missing overnight.

Cameron Notman was last seen leaving his house in Howletnest Road, Airdrie, at 5:15pm on Wednesday, December 9.

The 15-year-old is around 5’10” tall, and was wearing light-coloured grey jogging bottoms, a grey-coloured hooded top and Nike trainers.

Inspector John O’Neill said: “Our concerns for Cameron are growing and his family and friends are understandably very worried and just want to know he is safe and well.

Cameron Notman was last seen leaving his house in Howletnest Road, Airdrie, at 5:15pm on Wednesday, November 9.

“This behaviour is completely out of character for Cameron.

“If anyone has seen Cameron, or has any information or knowledge regarding his whereabouts, please contact Police Scotland via 101.”

Police Scotland has Missing Person Coordinators (MPCs) in every local division in the country.

MPCs support and oversee all missing person investigations.

Police Scotland says MPCs ensure missing persons have the “correct level of support” once they are found.
