Aberdeenshire police investigate disappearance of missing woman

Police in Banff have appealed for help to find a 52-year-old woman who has been reported missing from her home in the town.

Amanda Pickens was last seen at around 9am in Banff town centre on Wednesday, February 17.

She is 5’7” tall, with a slim build, and now has blonde hair in a similar style shown in the photograph supplied by Police Scoltland.

Ms Pickens speaks with an english accent, and is thought to be wearing knee length black jacket and black boots.

PC Greig, investigating her disappearance, said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who thinks they may have seen Mandy between 9am and 5pm on February 17, 2021.

He added: “Mandy would be well known in the Banff area. She has been known to travel by bus to Aberdeen.

“If you were on a bus today and think you saw Mandy then please call 101 and quote incident 2361 of February 17.”
