Crime warning to festive revellers in Edinburgh

Festive revellers in Edinburgh are being reminded that they could be targets for thieves and pickpockets in a major crime prevention campaign launched ahead of the busiest weekend of the year.

Posters will be on display in licensed premises in the George Street area of the city, bearing the slogan "Thieves love your stuff", Lothian and Borders Police said.
