Creative look at our cities

THE head of Scotland's new national arts body is set to discuss the role that creativity plays in shaping the country's cities during an event in the Capital.

Andrew Dixon, chief executive of Creative Scotland, will explore the role of the Edinburgh Festival, as well as Glasgow's year as City of Culture in 1990 and Dundee's successful project to bring the internationally renowned Victoria and Albert Museum to its waterfront.

Part of the Edinburgh Lecture Series, the talk takes place at The Filmhouse on December 2 at 6.30pm.
